UX Designer resume keywords
Design tools and research methods, with a portfolio link and outcomes. These are the terms recruiters search the ATS for, written the way postings write them.
Tools, systems and languages
- Figma
Skills and methods
- Wireframing
- Prototyping
- Usability Testing
- Design Systems
- Information Architecture
- Accessibility
Domain knowledge
- User Experience Research
How to use them
- Use the posting's exact wording. If it says a term one way, write it that way at least once.
- Write the full credential with its acronym: "Project Management Professional (PMP)"
- Tie each launch to a metric: adoption, revenue, cycle time, on-time delivery
- State scope: team size, budget, number of stakeholders or workstreams
- Only list what is true for you. A keyword you can't back up in an interview costs more than it gains.
