Cloud Engineer resume keywords
The cloud platform and its certification, then infrastructure-as-code and automation. These are the terms recruiters search the ATS for, written the way postings write them.
Tools, systems and languages
- Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft Azure
- Terraform
- Kubernetes
- Linux
- Python
- AWS IAM
Skills and methods
- CI/CD
- Networking
How to use them
- Use the posting's exact wording. If it says a term one way, write it that way at least once.
- Give the platform and the scale: "managed Intune for 1,200 devices"
- Name networking fundamentals you used: DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs
- List certifications with their full names
- Only list what is true for you. A keyword you can't back up in an interview costs more than it gains.
